On June 19th, 2025, we marked a powerful milestone — 10 years of creative resistance, cultural education, and community-rooted love at the Congress Heights Arts and Culture Center.

 

Our anniversary fundraiser, SOUFSIDE STRONG: Survival by Design, was more than an event — it was a testament to what’s possible when community, culture, and creativity align.

 

Held in the historic Old Congress Heights School, the evening brought together longtime supporters, new allies, artists, educators, youth, and changemakers to honor CHACC’s decade-long legacy and future vision. Guests experienced live performances, powerful tributes, immersive art, and meaningful connection — all rooted in the vibrant spirit of Wards 7 & 8.
