We're over the moon to let you know that the Congress Heights Arts and Culture Center (CHACC) is rolling out the red carpet for our 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Fundraiser. This year is extra special as we're also toasting to our 1st Anniversary of our incredible retail store 'Soufside Creative' at Sycamore and Oak. It's a double celebration of freedom, culture, and community success that you won't want to miss!

Thanks to your heartwarming support, CHACC has blossomed into a vibrant hub of creativity and community empowerment. As we dive into this year's fundraiser and sponsorship drive, your continued generosity will enhance the dynamic programs and workshops that we work so hard to curate. 

CHACC stands proud as a 501(c)(3) non-profit sanctuary, committed to lighting up the lives of youth and adults in Wards 7 and 8 with the brilliance of arts and culture, viewed through both a historical lens and a modern-day perspective. Since our doors swung open in 2015, under the visionary leadership of our Executive Director, Ms. Keyonna Jones, we've carved out a space where health, economic wellness, and art dance together in harmony, specially tailored for our East of the River Community.

This year, as we also celebrate the first anniversary of our retail store, we're reminded of the journey we've embarked on together and the milestones we've achieved. It's a testament to what we can accomplish when we unite in support of art, culture, and community development.

Let's raise a glass to Juneteenth, to 'Soufside Creative's' first year, and to the bright future of CHACC. Your presence, love, and support mean everything to us and our mission to nurture and showcase the talents within our community, especially for the children EOR and beyond!
